1.Why is Google Analytics Important For All Online Business<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/span>The advantage of having an online business is that it is open 24\/7 and you don’t have to be physical presence to maintain your E-store. However, this pose a problem for online businesses to keep<\/span>
\n track of how many visitors they have per day,\u00a0how long they stay on the\u00a0website, where are they from, which webpage did they visit etc. Thus, the only way to keep track the\u00a0traffic stats is to install Goggle Analytics (Free) to your WordPress.<\/span><\/p>\n

What can you track using Google Analytic?<\/strong><\/span>
\nOnce you signed up an account with Google analytics > under “Reporting” tab, you will be able to get detailed report of how your website is doing.<\/span>

\nReal Time<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/strong>This is in real time mode, meaning you’ll get to monitor\u00a0all the statictics in real time happened in the last 30 mintues.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> It allows you see\u00a0which country\/city the active users are from.<\/span>
\n Traffic Sources:<\/strong> This allows you to see which traffic channels (Organic search, paid search, link follows, Facebook etc.)<\/span>
\n Content:<\/strong> Which pages is viewed by the visitors\u00a0Audience<\/span><\/p>\n

Audience<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/strong>Under this section, you will be able\u00a0to monitor your audience by:
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Demographics: <\/strong>Allows\u00a0you can monitor your audience\u2019s age and gender.
\n<\/span>Interests:<\/strong> Allows you to monitor their behaviour and interests such as food & drinks, technology, sports, travel etc.
\nGeographic:<\/strong> You will see which “Location” they come from and what “Language” they use.
\n<\/span>Behavior:<\/strong> The number of new visitors or return visitors, the\u00a0duration and frequency of the sessions.
\nTechnology:<\/strong> Which Browser and OS your visitor\u00a0use to view your website (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and which wifi network they use.
\nMobile:<\/strong> Whether they use computer, mobile phone or tablet and what kind of mobile devices they use.

\n<\/span><\/strong>This section allows you to see a details behaviours of what the visitors are doing in your website.

Site Content:\u00a0<\/strong>Allows you to see which web pages your readers stay the longest, which web pages they usually land and leave immediately, how long they view the web pages etc.<\/span>
\n Site Speed: <\/strong>Let you get insight of how long it takes for your website to load and speed suggestion.<\/span>
\n Site Search:<\/strong> Let you get insight of what search terms your visitors used, any search refinements.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. How to Sign Up An Account With Google Analytics (Free)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>Go to\u00a0Google Analytics<\/a>\u00a0website<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>Sign in to Google Analytcis using your Gmail account.\u00a0If you do\u00a0not\u00a0have a Gmail account, you will have to create\u00a0one yourself before you sign in to Google Analytics.

 <\/p>\n

Step 3: <\/strong><\/span>Once you sign in to Google Analytics, you will be bought to the “Admin” page to create a new account.<\/span>
\n Make sure “Website” is selected as there are two choices to choose from between Website or Mobile app ><\/span>
\n Next,\u00a0enter the information that are self explanatory on that page… account name, website name, website url\u00a0etc…<\/span>
\n\"3-Google-Analytic\"<\/p>\n

Once you are done, select “Get Tracking ID” at the bottom of the page.<\/span>
\n\"4-Google-Analytic\"<\/p>\n


\nStep 4:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0There\u00a0will be a pop up”Google Analytics terms and service” > \u00a0Click “ I Accept<\/strong>” button after you set the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"5-Google-Analytic\"<\/p>\n


\nStep 5:<\/strong><\/span> On the next screen, you will see a “Tracking Code”<\/strong>. This is the code that you may need to enter in your WordPress site for verification purposes. So let’s go back to your WordPress site while you\u00a0remain\u00a0the Goggle Analytics’s browser open… you will need to come back later.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n3. How to install Goggle Analytics WordPress<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/span>
\nThere are two\u00a0method I\u00a0personally prefer when it comes to\u00a0install Google Analytics in your WordPress account.<\/span><\/p>\n

Method\u00a01:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Copy Paste Tracking Code<\/span>
\nMethod\u00a02:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Installing Plugin to WordPress (Recommended)<\/span><\/p>\n

I personally like to use\u00a0method\u00a02: Plugin Method because once you have the plugin installed, you will be able to check the traffic stats at a glance<\/em> found on your WordPress Dashboard, something like the below screenshot. Otherwise, you will have to login to your Google Analytics to check on the traffic stats although they provide a detailed reporting<\/em> of the traffic stats. It really depends on your personal preferences….<\/span>

If you decide on Method 1: Direct paste method, you will need the\u00a0Tracking ID, otherwise you can ignore it if you go for Method 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

Method\u00a01: Copy\u00a0Paste Tracking Code<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/span>Step 1:<\/strong> <\/span>Go to Appearance> Editor

Step 2:<\/span><\/strong> Select “Header<\/strong>” > Click “Proceed”<\/span>

\nStep 3:<\/span> <\/strong>Go back to your Google Analytics browser > Copy the whole code provided as seen below.

\nStep 4:<\/span><\/strong> Back to your WordPress browser >\u00a0Paste\u00a0the code in\u00a0<\/em>right after the <body> tag > Click\u00a0“Update File<\/strong>” > Done

\nMethod 2: Installing Plugins to WordPress\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0On your left side menu of the WordPress account> Go to Plugins > Add New<\/span>

Step 2:<\/strong> <\/span>Search for Goggle Analytics Dashboard for WP > Click “Install Now<\/strong>” > and activate the plugin once you installed it.<\/span>

Step 3:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>After you activate the plugin, you will be able to find “Goggle Analytics” button on your left side menu > Click “General Settings”<\/span>

Step 4:<\/strong> <\/span>Click “Authorize Plugin”<\/span>\"10-Google-Analytic\"<\/p>\n


\nStep 8:<\/strong><\/span> Click “Get Access Code<\/strong>“<\/span>\"11-Google-Analytic\"<\/p>\n


\nStep 9:<\/strong> <\/span>Once you click “Get Access Code”, it will open another browser which is your Google Analytics dashboard for WP >\u00a0Click “Accept<\/strong>”\u00a0<\/span>\"13-Google-Analytic\"<\/p>\n


\nStep 10:<\/strong><\/span> Next, copy the code provided and go back to your WordPress browser: Google Analytics Settings .<\/span>\"14-Google-Analytic\"<\/p>\n


\nStep 11:<\/strong><\/span> Paste the code in > Click “Save Access Code<\/strong>“<\/span>

\nNow you should be able to see your Google Analytics Dashboard<\/strong> on your WordPress Dashboard.
